ARMCHAIR PARIS

London Calling
May 2007

Floating down the Thames...

to the Tower Bridge...

opening up for the Protest Parade!

A flotilla of fishing boats gathered
that afternoon on the Thames...

They were protesting EU regulations,
 which they claim are destroying
 the British fishing industry.

Friday commute at Embankment
and Charing Cross stations

We ended that afternoon
at Gordon's on Villiers Street
 for wine and cheese
with the huddled masses!

On Saturday we headed for Newmarket,
home to one of the oldest
race courses in England.

Tony suggested a 'quiet drink'...
Joe liked the idea of a 'wee dram'
...at the local pub in Herne Hill.
